Description
A key Contract role within an excellent financial services company in Paris. They are looking for a QA Manager come on board and drive the overall testing efforts across the business and technology. You will lead and manage a team of five people but will also coordinate overall internal testing efforts across IT, Risk and Operations.
Some of your key responsibilities will be:
- Create a testing plan across internal and external facing test environments.
- Define the testing approach & strategy for each campaign with all stakeholders
- Work with stakeholders, business analysts and development teams to define test campaigns and address and resolve issues and defects when found.
- Define a structure for managing test campaigns across a team which allows reporting of overall status as well as detailed drill down of test results.
- Develop and progress testing team members
- Drive the test team to automate tasks where possible or provide requirements to development to enable further automation.
You will need:
- Must have financial services experience
- This is an English speaking role however some knowledge of French is required.
- Experience of team management skills applicable for line management of a team of individuals and also stakeholder management covering Risk, Operations, Relationship Management and other functions.
- Project management skills applicable to managing test phases of projects and software release cycles.
- Proven ability to review business requirements and system specifications and define functional test cases which test main day to day flows as well as potential edge cases not identified pre-implementation.
- Experience with the use of test tools such as Quality Centre.
- Able to differentiate and organise the execution of unit, integration and end-to-end functional tests as well as performance tests.
- Awareness of OTC derivative trade life cycle and typical issues which will affect batch and intraday trade processing and risk systems.
