Manufacturing Technician - PCB, RF, Test, Assembly, MoD - South Wales - Contract

We have an excellent opportunity for a Electronic Manufacturing Technician! This is a Contract role based in South Wales and requires you to hold a valid SC Clearance.

Job Description:

  • Build, test and repair of complex low volume communication products, in accordance with existing assembly and test procedures.
  • Self-motivated, results driven, with experience in diagnostic fault finding down to component level on complex communication products with a desire to improve products and the processes used to build/test.
  • Maintain and develop product assembly and test capability by identifying potential process improvements and contributing to their implementation
  • Assembly and test of Electronic products.
  • Fault diagnosis to component level on complex products.
  • Methodical approach to record keeping and shipping of units
  • Experience of security aspects of Protectively Marked Material.

Technical Expertise:

  • Qualified to A-Level/BTEC Level 3 in STEM subjects, or equivalent vocational qualifications
  • Hands-on experience of applicable assembly, test and diagnosis techniques for complex electronic assemblies

Sector/Industry Knowledge:

Low volume highly complex communications products
