IIB Integration Consultant

Description

The team Service integration provides in the business landscape services into 4 domains:

• IBM Integration Bus (Enterprise Service Bus) - IIB: enterprise integration engine that offers a fast, simple way for systems and applications to communicate with each other
• WebSphere MQ FTE (File Transfer Edition) - MQFTE: manage file transfers in WebSphere MQ environments across a range of platforms and networks
• IBM DataPower Gateway - DataPower: multi-channel gateway that helps provide security, control, integration and optimized access to a full range of mobile, web, application programming interface (API), service-oriented architecture (SOA), B2B and cloud workloads
• IBM App Connect (CastIron): automate workflows and integrate data, apps and APIs across hybrid cloud environments

The main job is developing in IIB and assisting in arcitecture. The goal is to develop in ESQL/Java/XSLT (Middleware) in IIB 9 with team members (analysts, architect, developers). The ESB combines 2 approaches at the same time for a service: provider and consumer of this service.

The development IIB is based on an approach Message Exchange Pattern, an in-house IIB framework and a SOA approach for service design. The IIB environment is stabile but has several projects to face out.

• Developer
  • Be able to develop in ESQL (Java) and XSLT
  • Analyze existing code (reverse engineering) and propose solutions
  • Understand a technical-functional analysis and develop it according to the in-house framework and the SOA principles
  • Report, give status advancement
  • Execute and document the Unit Testing of developments
  • Having a worry of the performance, the readability of the code, the ease of support of the exposed service (Kibana)
• Be able to search for information (reverse engineering, colleague, business) ("do not reinvent the wheel")
• Be able to integrate into an existing in-house IIB framework and respect the rules/procedures in place
• Able to summarize
