FinXL are building a team of Field Technicians required to network for all field-based operational maintenance, passive augmentation, field audits, connection quality, and End User escalations across this national business.
You will work within the passive and local network connections. The Field Technician group will be responsible for passing technical escalations to the Field Engineer Group and will be accountable in ensuring all mentoring opportunities are met.
To be successful, the role will work closely with internal stakeholders groups as well as relevant external contractors, suppliers, industry bodies and a desire to gain experience in the operational areas of resolving issues, finalising solutions, decision making, and dealing with people.
A Field Technician will work with their peers, Field Engineers and other technical specialists in gaining skills and experience as well as completing the work assigned to them.
Provide on-site, and ad-hoc network support.
Provide support for changes or upgrades to network elements.
Physically participate in the augmentation of the network to include hauling, splicing, terminating and testing.
Leadership in improving the passive network's operational and technical processes.
Provide field support for:
Network escalations.
Field Engineers assistance on demand.
Difficult faults that cannot be resolved by the contractors.
Access seeker complaints.
External workforce quality audits.
Provide technical advice and support for operational maintenance for plant, equipment, test equipment, vehicles etc.
Involves frequent travel.
Available for travel to remote rural locations.
