IP Engineer

Our client, a global leading IT outsourcing company is recruiting for a IP Engineer to join their business in United Kingdom.

Position Title: IP Engineer
Position Type: Contract
Start Date: Immediately
Duration: 6 months initial

Responsibilities:
- Directly involved in installation, Configuration and Integration of Cisco Network Projects
- Undertake support as designated Advanced Services Consultant for a small to medium-scale network
- Develop and deliver the project schedule for formal review and acceptance to the Customer
- The work with the final Client and Customers has to identify and document dependencies, risks and issues associated with the successful completion of the project(s)
- Escalate any project-related issues requiring assistance to Client’s or Customer’s Project Manager
- Jointly develop milestones and delivery dates with Customer and the Client
- Provide a handover, follow-on actions, lessons learned, and exception reports (if any exceptions exist) upon Service completion
- Deliver weekly project status reports to Client and Client’s Customers and participate in regularly scheduled project review meetings or conference calls
- Create and maintain project lifecycle operational documents, including: project plan, communications plan, action register, work breakdown structure (WBS), risk assessment and risk register

Qualifications:
- 3-5 years Cisco Network implementation, Network support, pre-sales support, hands on installation in the LAN /WAN network deployment
- Superior level knowledge in (1) of the following and strong knowledge in all other areas of: IP internetworking, LAN Switching. IP Routing protocols (IGRP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).
- Superior Level knowledge in LAN Switching
- Knowledge of ACI Networking
- Superior level internetworking troubleshooting in a medium / large-scale network environment.
- Consultants should be trained and capable of independently delivering network service support. Consultants to go through structured training program to achieve next level of expertise and career advancement
- Professional Level CCNP or CCDP
