IP Support EngineerOur client, a global leading IT outsourcing company is recruiting for a IP Support Engineer to join their business in Slovakia.
Position Title: IP Support Engineer
Position Type: Contract
Start Date: Immediately
Duration: 6 months initial

Responsibilities:
- Analysis of complex network designs and diagnosis of networking problems
- Act as the technical specialist and lead for complex customer environments
- Use the business acumen, fully understand customer's overall technical and business needs
- Communicate with different customer instances including also different management levels
- Good collaboration with the service delivery team for customer T-Systems
- Represent the client at the customer on different levels of management; work hand in hand together with customer’s technical staff, leading and mentoring them
- Engineer must participate in 24 by 7 on-call duty every 3 or 4 weeks alternating with other Cisco engineers, including the ability to reach customer’s site within two hours after being alerted
Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in network engineering or telecommunications support environment
- Expert level experience in Data center technologies
- Good knowledge of Cisco product lines, supported technology and networking solutions.
- Broad technical knowledge of IP networking, data center solutions and virtualization concepts
- Expert level knowledge in datacenter technologies including: Nexus 7000 & Fabric Path, Nexus and vPC, Nexus 2000 fabric extenders, Catalyst 6500 and VSS, Nexus 1000, Cisco 7600 & ISR & ASR9K, UCS skills are advantageous
- In-depth knowledge and experience with: Incident Management (together with Cisco TAC), Problem Management, Change Management (plan, prepare, execute & support changes in the networks)
