Key Responsibilities
- implement best in class architectural solution for big and complex systems hosted on cloud infrastructure
- Define and create system architecture design document and discuss different pros and cons of any particular approach with Architecture council
- Basic Qualifications: 12+ years of IT Infrastructure management of which 2+ years as an Architect using cloud technologies (Azure)
- Experienced in DevOps and tools
- Develop PowerShell scripts and ARM templates to automate the provisioning and deployment process. Define cloud network architecture using Azure virtual networks, VPN and an express route to establishing connectivity between on-premise and cloud.
- Strong knowledge of deployment automation, orchestration and configuration management
- Implement highly available and disaster recovery solutions in Azure to meet the customer SLA requirements. Configure the appropriate VMs, storage and network in Azure to support the customer workloads moving to Azure.
- Develop and implement monitoring, backup and archival solutions in Azure to support customer requirements.
- Troubleshoot and identify performance, connectivity and other issues for the applications hosted in Azure platform. Implement solutions using Azure PaaS features like web jobs, cloud services, Azure SQL Server, service bus, notification hubs etc. Configure large database solutions in Azure using SQL Server, Oracle database solutions or other non SQL database.
Required
- Microsoft Azure experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong and advanced Information Technology experience designing and implementing enterprise level applications
- Good analytical, presentation skills with exposure to working with dynamic teams
- Exposure to Global Delivery Model and experience in working with cross-shore teams
- Qualification Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Information Systems
