Description
Our client, a large public sector body based in London are looking for a Press Office to join their team in London on a contract basis.
The ideal candidate will possess experience of working in a Press Officer capacity, ideally for a government or public sector body.
The following skill set is also required:
* Ability to manage a modern media team and develop long term handling strategies
* Able to provide regular media handling advice on policy briefs to senior officials, ministers and colleagues on sensitive, complex or high-profile issues
* Experience of analysing media monitoring results to reassess the effectiveness of media strategies and inform future media campaigns
* Experience handling high profile media issues
The successful candidate will also need to possess excellent communication skills as they will be expected to engage with senior officials and work well as part of a team.
