Network Engineer - Contract - London/Edinburgh
Square One are looking for a Network Engineer to come on board for an initial 3 month contract, in London or Edinburgh.
This is an initial 3 month contract, paying market rates.
The role is based in either London or Edinburgh but will require the odd travel to the other location.
Main Duties:
Supporting technical lead with understand business and technical requirements documenting detailed design options and decisions
Preparing change and documentation, leveraging collaboration tools to effectively utilise team strengths
Executing configuration changes as per agreed delivery plans
Proactiveness in improving efficiency of delivery
Experience/Skills:
Cisco ACI Design, Deployment, Troubleshooting, and Operational experience
Cisco Routing and Switching - BGP, OSPF, BFD, HSRP, STP, VPC, FabricPath on Nexus 7K, 6K, 5K, 2K and Catalyst 6500 - CCxP level
F5 Big IP (LTM, ASM and DNS) including Advanced Routing Module
F5 VIPRION Chassis and vCMP deployment experience
FortiGate and management platforms
Gigamon HC-2 and GigaVUE experience
Raritan CCSG & DSX-2 experience
Infoblox DDI experience
Fundamentals of Cloud Application and Network Architecture - primarily AWS but Azure/GCP etc also acceptable
Network Focussed automation, via Scripting with python and/or ansible or similar
Automating public and/or private cloud deployments
The role is based in either London or Edinburgh but will require the odd travel to the other location.
