Senior QA Tester - Contract - £700PD- Immediate Start
As the Senior Quality Assurance Analyst you will be responsible for implementing modern QA processes, frameworks and tooling with a focus on automation techniques across the project. You must have experience creating and implementing QA strategies, processes and procedures and be able to define, communicate and escalate quality-related issues and push back when work does not meet quality standards.
In order to be considered for this contract role, prior Mainframe testing experience is ESSENTIAL.
Succesful candidates must have:
Commercial experience of software development within an AGILE delivery environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities are required
5+ years of QA experience, preferably in testing E-commerce websites, web-based projects and mobile projects is required
Must have experience with building and enhancing automation frameworks and automation test scripts based on business use cases, from scratch
Experience with functional test automation
Selenium, Ranorex, Fortify
XRay on JIRA
HP LoadRunner, Neolod
In-depth experience with an object-oriented language is required
Strong knowledge of BDD/TDD environments
Must have sound knowledge and experience working with Continuous Integration and continuous delivery (CI, CD); various release deployment processes
Strong knowledge and extensive experience in various types of testing (Automation, Functional, Regression, Browser compatibility, Integration, System, Configuration, Smoke, Accessibility, etc.) is required
