Description
We are currently helping one of our leading renewable energy clients to find a Site Document Controller for their offshore wind farm project. The location is likely to be London, however, this could change so the Consultant needs to be flexible. This role is anticipated to commence 1st March 2018 up until the 30th September 2018 with the possibility of a lengthy extension. This is will be a 5 working day a week.Responsibilities:
Documentation and Archiving:
- To implementation of archive structure designed by the Records Management and Site Management.
- To Design and introduce procedures for archiving.
- Maintain archive system (data organisation).
- Structure documents (maps, specifications, official documents & acts and similar) coming from external sources general use by the site management.
- Proofreading.
- Quality insurance of documents according to the clients wind power standards.
- Quality insurance of documents according to the clients wind farm project standards.
- When required deliver and prepare documents for:
- Handover/transfer procedure
- Follow up
- To archive documents, version control of documents
- To follow up on incoming/missing documentation from site management - according to document delivery plans.
- To provide list of incoming documentation.
- To create gap analysis for monitoring documents.
- To provide assistance for managers on archiving procedures
- Introduction of new personnel to archive function of the site
- Requirements to document design, version control
- To have used PONDUS or similar
- To Liaise with contractors and vendors, suppliers so that everyone understand the client's requirements when producing documents.
- 5 years. professional experience within document control or a similar working environment, technical archive systems and maintenance.
- Draftsman or Technical Librarian.
- IT Proficient.

The Consultant must have his/her own I-phone mobile telephone.
