Make your next big career move & develop your passion for Oracle Applications Oracle Applications DBA Role and Responsibilities Vantage Resources are currently seeking an experienced Oracle Applications DBA for an initial 6-month contract based in North Dublin
What's involved:
- Provide Oracle DB Technical Input, Leadership and Guidance
- Maintenance and support E-business suite applications, databases and other Oracle Technology stack components
- Carrying out general DBA duties including performance tuning, cloning, debug, backup and recovery
- Design, development and testing of backup and Disaster Recovery solutions
- Design, development and testing of Oracle OBI (OBIEE & OBIA) including cost estimates
- Undertake installations, upgrades, migrations and patch management of Oracle E-business Suite environments
- Onsite and remote customer engagement on all aspects of the service.
What you need:
- 2+ years Oracle Apps DBA experience including production support in a client facing capacity, with at least one large Oracle EBS upgrade project.
- 2 years' experience of working with and implementing Oracle BI solutions.
- Expert knowledge of 11i or R12 EBS technology stack
