One of my globally leading investment banking clients is looking for a senior DevOps engineer with proven track records in development and operations across applications and infrastructure. The primary goal is to continuously and structurally improve the reliability and maintainability of the IT environments involved delivered and managed from different international domains.
Foundational elements for the convergence towards the globally scalable banking platform are, among others, Global Data Management, Global Process Management and a Modular Architecture. The TouchPoint Open Banking platform will deliver the Modular Architecture.
My client's strategy to become one truly global bank and is a key success factor on their path to become a financial services platform that extends beyond banking. Through their platform they provide a scalable foundation for platform business models and so position them successfully in the new banking ecosystem.
Competencies - Skills
Mastery in at least one programming language, Java is a plus;
Working knowledge of configuration tools like Puppet, Chef or Ansible
Scripting experience in at least one of the following: Ruby, Python, Bash, Powershell
Solid foundation in Linux, Apache Tomcat and API's/webservices administration and troubleshooting;
Proven experience with automation;
Be able to understand and formulate meaningful business metrics;
Experience taking a leading role in building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers;
Experience with distributed computing and enterprise-wide systems
Experience with agile software development practices
