I can confirm the steam turbine they are using is a Triveni turbine an Indian company which bought the rights to the Peter Brotherhood turbine and there are some Triveni engineers on site.
The contract length that has been mentioned is 4 months but our commissioning engineers on site have said they think 6 months.
12 hour days minimum - 5 days a week, some potential for night shift work
The Commissioning manager on site has mentioned they need the requirements of the role are;
Interface, Instruments and controls monitoring
Mechanical side when it has been completely installed
Check the turbine is mechanically sound before they fire It up and operational
Drawing checks
Check the valves
Check the full system
Rotary Blades, bearings and condition checks.
Potential for further projects after completion of this site and another site in Belfast in commissioning stage which would have all expenses paid.
Commissioning Engineer with Steam Turbine experience
previous experience required having worked with all aspects of commissioning a Steam turbine on an Energy from Waste Biomass plant.
