Sopra Steria Recruitment is working in partnership with a major public sector client in the UK. We are currently recruiting Senior Auditor for 3 months contract initially with possible extension.
This role is falling Inside IR35.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- You will work independently or within a team to successfully deliver audits and advisory reviews that meet audit objectives whilst managing client expectations;
- Complete planning of the audit inclusive of discussion with clients to agree the scope and timing;
- Assessing; testing and evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of risk controls;
- Recommending practical and cost effective actions for improving the effectiveness of the risk management process and internal control environment;
- Drafting the audit report and agreeing it with the client;
- Audits will be subject to an internal quality assurance process
