Description

Communications Administrator - Edinburgh - 3 months

Communications Administrator required for an initial 3 months contract based in Edinburgh.

Duties will include but are not limited to -

  • Organising and supplying appropriate images to press, and for social media channels, ensuring accuracy and consistency of caption information and copyright clearance where necessary
  • Supporting organisation press views, news conferences, unveilings, photocalls, etc.
  • Keeping records of all television and radio coverage.
  • Research, update and maintain media contacts database, ensuring the accuracy of all information held there
  • Respond to general enquiries by email, telephone and social media
  • Circulate daily summary of press coverage, and general interest stories; maintain efficient log of project coverage for stakeholder reports.

Marketing Support will include -

  • Data collation
  • Booking meeting rooms
  • Copy checking
  • Formatting of documents.
  • Completion of listings for various titles to promote events

  • Demonstrable ability to work collaboratively, across departments and as part of a team.
  • High standard of accuracy and attention to detail in a busy working environment.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure

  • Proven administration skills
  • Experience of working to tight deadlines
