Infrastructure Architect (Server/Storage) - Brussels

Languages: ENGLISH, FRENCH and/or DUTCH.

Skills and Experience:

  • At least 5 years hands-on experience with complex infrastructure & applications environments.
  • Strong in knowledge elicitation and information acquisition with the ability to conceptualize and structure information it in all-compelling views.
  • Ability to communicate and explain architectural decisions or proposals to a customer.
  • Deep knowledge of existing network infrastructure & multi-customer service provider architecture.
  • Extensive knowledge of various infrastructure domains like hosting, cloud, Storage & access management etc.

Description of work:

  • Be the privileged contact at the level of architecture for your customer(s), working in team.
  • In this function, you are required to build a trust relationship with your customer(s).
  • Build/have an architectural exhaustive view on your customer's Applications migration projects, also at the level of architecture influencing the internal architecture landscape.
  • For qualified requests, collect and formally document the customer requirements in order to establish a baseline for the Applications migration.
  • Challenge the current architecture standards and new project requests from a technical point of view while keeping an eye on the potential financial impact.
  • Create a solution where the architecture is valid (answering the business needs/requirements of the customer) and viable (based on recognised, supported and approved technologies.
  • Document the elements of cost that are relevant for the solution.
  • Be technically responsible for the offerings made to the customers and be responsible for the integrity (and completeness) of the elements of costs.
