Integrated Test Manager
Location: South West England

EXCLUSIVE OPPORTUNITY:
Sopra Steria is currently recruiting for an Integrated Test, Evaluation and Acceptance Manager to join a new team, based on site at a key Government client in the South West of England.
The team will be involved in a large programme providing a solution to deliver secure access to information services for users across various locations in the UK and overseas, providing a configurable network that has a single sign-on.
This contract is for an initial two months, with the option to extend for at least another six beyond that.
The Integrated Test Manager will report to the Integrated Test and Transition (IT&T) team and will be responsible for the delivery of a suite of integrated testing with the objective of collecting and presenting evidence in support of the acceptance procedures for the Programme across the security domains.
On client's instructions, due to the urgency, nature and length of the assignment, the successful candidate must have current security clearance to a high level.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITY:
- Managing all aspects of the equipment and service testing to facilitate capability acceptance.
- Planning and allocation of resources, overseeing and conducting of test and trials events (as a minimum: Functional Assessment, System, Acceptance Tests (SAT), and User Acceptance Trials (Equipment) (UAT(E).
- Stakeholder engagement and liaison with SMEs to ensure acceptance criteria are identified, understood and covered in test documentation.
- Continuous evaluation throughout the development of the solution.
- Manage the priorities of the Test manager to ensure that Test Plans, Test Specifications and Test Scripts are produced to meet the scope of scheduled tests.
- Report on test progress, defects and issues to the programme IT&T team, project team and key stakeholders.
- Lead the test phase, maintaining a close working relationship with Test, Change and Transition (TCT) for test acceptance and artefact assurance.
- Lead test readiness reviews, test progress meetings and conduct test completion reviews supported by the IT&T team.
- Collation of test results into coherent records suitable for presentation to the acceptance authority.
- Plan for the transition into service of the capability liaising with the Through Life Support Team and Front Line Commands.
ESSENTIALS SKILLS
- A solid knowledge of computer network systems and experience of the ITEA Process - good understanding of deployable military systems a definite advantage.
