Systems Engineer (m/f)

Your tasks:
  • Ensure effective service delivery and operation of productivity and collaboration services for the workplace, and serve as the technical lead and subject matter expert on related projects
  • Reporting to the Information Management & Technology Enterprise Shared Services Manager
  • Perform the overall tasks that have been assigned to you including planning, managing, tracking, and reporting on the status of those activities
  • Work closely with other colleagues to ensure that the systems and infrastructure supporting the productivity and collaboration services for the workplace are functioning well, and that processes and procedures are in place to support smooth operations


Your qualifications
  • In-depth knowledge of the Office 365 suite, particularly Microsoft Exchange, Skype for Business, SharePoint, OneDrive, ActiveSync, mail security gateways, Internet listserv, ADFS and Azure AD
  • Thorough understanding of messaging protocols and related services (MAPI, SMTP, POP, IMAP, EAS, HTTPS, etc.)
  • Good understanding of configuration management and application distribution for personal devices
  • Good knowledge of Windows server systems and Active Directory
  • Ability to maintain system design and maintenance plans
  • Ability to maintain complex scripts for systems deployment, operation and maintenance, and services provisioning and de-provisioning
  • Ability to effectively support many systems and users
  • Ability to work in complex and changing environment and under pressure
  • Creativity in approaching new challenges, both technological and organizational
  • Excellent communication, problem solving and analytical skills
  • University degree in computer science, engineering, or information management, or related discipline
  • Relevant professional training and/or certification related to Windows, Microsoft Collaborative services, Office 365, Desktop Engineering, ICT service management would be an advantage
  • Relevant professional experience in the information and communications field
  • Recent experience implementing and supporting large scale Microsoft Office 365, Exchange Server and Active Directory applications
  • Experience with cloud encryption technologies, e.g., Vaultive, would be an advantage
  • Experience working with globally distributed stakeholders
  • Expert knowledge in spoken and written English; basic knowledge in French is desirable, but not mandatory
