SAN Engineer - Storage Area Network
Stott and May have been engaged by a large organisation to secure an SAN Engineer - Storage Area Network on a contract basis.
Key Duties:
- Support installation, maintenance, and administration of the large enterprise SAN environment.
- Troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis and identify storage related problems
- Allocate SAN storage to Servers and provide system security and access
- Use SAN management tools to analyze performance and identify bottlenecks or slowdowns and take appropriate action to resolve
Key Skills:
- HP (EVAs, 3 PAR)
- Hitachi (VSPs, HUSVM)
- Experience with Brocade switch (DCXs) & Cisco SAN Switch configuration and support such as Virtual SAN, Fiber channel zoning, LUN masking, HBA configuration and tuning
