Description

We are looking for a Senior Security Architect with a background in Mobile Core Networks to ensure system integrity, stability and efficient operation of the Telco Service Virtualisation Cloud that supports the core domain functions through good design, planning & documentation.

Technical Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of X86 compute and Storage (fibre and iSCSi)
  • Track record working with x86 virtualisation technologies in particular VMWare products
  • Understanding of AAA, PCRF, OCS, billing gateways, subscriber profile repositories, IMS, ePDG|, EPC
  • Proven experience working within Linux in Enterprise environments, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux derivatives
  • Familiar with ISO27001 policies and procedures for information risk management.
  • Knowledge of key cyber security solutions and procedure such as IPS, AV controls, Penetration testing, hardening procedures and monitoring SIEM.
  • Good knowledge of networking, and IP network technologies.
  • Knowledge of industry best practice and vendor landscape for security solutions
  • Experience of MS Active Directory and Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop deployments.
  • Knowledge of NFVI security (inter VNF protection), security services for VNF's.
  • Experience in mobile/fixed telecommunications industry in the role of a designer with business-critical, high-availability/high-throughout systems and networks
  • Good level of understanding, ability and leadership in their technical domain
  • Experience working Red Hat Satellite 6, Foreman
  • Use of automation products similar to Puppet, Ansible
  • Use of NSX for microstate Firewalling and security profiles

Core Responsibilities:

  • The role is to carry out Design and Planning activities to ensure the security of the SSA infrastructure for Mobile Services, applying proven communication, analytical and problem solving skills to help maximize the benefit of the investment.
  • Deliver TSV Cloud based solutions to meet agreed business requirements, as encapsulated within a project or similar activity
  • Responsible for securing the TSV cloud.
  • Administering the ACF process documentation and completing all forms to support the business process and procedures.
  • Technical Design Authority for new implementations for remote access management and Active Directory.
  • Ensuring the teams documentation & processes conform to ISO9001 QM requirements, such as formal documentation control and annual reviews.
  • Act as the technical lead in TSV Cloud delivery to projects with necessary support from technical leads from other domains.
  • Refine and review project requirements, influencing them to ensure the most effective use of the TSV Cloud resources.
  • Create and maintain robust design documentation
  • Successfully interfaces with the Network Control and Delivery and Operational communities to ensure the successful transition from Design through Delivery and to Operational Acceptance.
  • Coordinate the activities of third parties, such as vendors, outsourced partners, or parent companies, to manage the successful development and delivery of designed solutions.
  • Act as a technical design authority, with enduring ownership of one or more components within a technical domain
  • Provide 3rd/4th line support to the Operations teams.
