Interim Facilities Manager, Flexible Location, Attractive Market Rate, Three to six months
Our client is a substantial provider of care homes and specialist services, with numerous facilities throughout the UK.
They require an interim Facilities Manager who can assist in the management of a significant outsourced contract providing hard FM services (PPM and reactive work) as follows:
- Ensuring appropriate systems are in place to capture pertinent information relating to contract performance
- Monitoring contractor performance against the requirements of the contract. This will require a detailed understanding of SLAs and KPIs Embedded in the contract
- Providing timely reports on contract performance, highlighting areas where improvements are required and analysing trends to provide early warning of potential problems
- Supporting Divisional and Technical FMs as required in contractual issues beyond the normal day-to-day operation of the contract. This will require gaining a detailed understanding of the contract, including remedies to improve any poor performance, and fully understanding the obligations of all parties to the contract
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience of managing FM contracts within a multi-site portfolio
- Proven ability to analyse a contract's performance, identify the key elements, and provide statistics and commentary to colleagues and/or contractors to improve performance
- Proven ability to deliver routine or bespoke reports on-time
- A high level of commercial understanding, assessment and use of statistical data
- Proven ability to influence external teams to deliver services that adhere to contract requirements
- Ability to negotiate with, influence and manage external contractors
- Knowledge of a range FM contracts
