Description
VMware Automation Engineer wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.Your experience/skills:
- Higher degree in computer science along with VCA6-CMA, VCP7-CMA and VCAP6-CMA Certifications
- 5+ years' working experience in Java Scripts, Shell Scripts, PowerShell Scripts, Python and Ruby
- VMware vRealize Automation background, including the creation of blueprints, publishing of catalogs as well as design of new workflows
- Professionalism in integration of infrastructure endpoints, like Netapp, Infoblox, vCenter, HDS, AIX LPAR, Windows development services, Satellite, Puppet, AD, F5 or Cisco hardware
- Practical knowledge in integrating infrastructure endpoints with different protocols like REST, SOAP, SSH and Powershell remoting
- Extensive experience in IT infrastructure environments like Redhat Linux, Microsoft Windows, network, storage, Puppet, AD, load balancer and VMware
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Engineering, designing and documenting the global vRealize Automation Infrastructure
- Integrating globally distributed infrastructure endpoints
- Developing and documenting new workflows, blueprints and catalogs in collaboration with the subject matter experts
- Maintaining the development and enhancement of the current IaaS and XaaS offering
- Debugging and troubleshooting existing workflows and Interfaces in vRA as well as 3rd level support of vRA related incidents
