Systems Analyst (Technical) - Migration Team
Location: Dublin, Ireland. City Centre.
6 Month Initial Contract with strong potential for extension.
Our client is seeking a contract Systems Analyst to join our Information Services (I.S.) Delivery Team at Dublin.
The Role:
We have embarked on a large business and systems transformation project (core system replacement) and we have a requirement for a Technical Systems Analyst for the organisations Future Systems Transformation Project (FSS). This programme is currently underway and will span at least 2 years to 3 years.
The successful candidate will work on the Migration Work stream.
As a team member he/she will be expected to work closely and effectively with other team members such as I.S. Managers, Business Stakeholders, System Architects, other Systems and QA Analysts, Project Managers, and Software Developers
The Systems Analyst will be expected to apply the corporate-approved methodologies and standards in delivering recommendations that are compliant with Portfolio and Enterprise Architecture direction.
There may be a requirement for the successful candidate to travel to Germany from time to time to work on this Programme. The duration of any trips is likely to be 2 to 3 days max.
The Person:
Duties and Responsibilities included in this role:
To work with the Migration Team to:
- Support the Mapping Process for Broker and Client for New Business Readiness
- Become familiar with Target State and Source State Mapping Transformation
- Create and Execute Test Sets and Conditions for New Business Readiness
- Support the Test Work stream during End to End Test Process
- Support Control and Reconciliation Process
- Create Test Strategy for Policy Migrations
- Gather, document and present requirements through interviews about SALI Premium History
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Ideally the allocated SAN should have some knowledge of Fineos, Paxus and GIS.
- Additional knowledge about CCV and Borealis would be an advantage.
- The SAN should be able to work on their own in a constructive manner with guidance and support from the Lead SAN.

Desired Skills and Experience:
- Experience working with recognised application/service delivery processes and methodology
- Experience in the Financial Services sector (in particular Life and Pensions Insurance)
- Experience as an Analyst in a large enterprise environment with multiple data sources
- Experience working with flowcharting tools such as MS Visio
- Experience working in geographically distributed teams
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- The successful candidate is expected to:
- Be educated to technical degree level, or equivalent technical experience
- Proven industry experience as a Systems Analyst
- Have a strong and current technical background
- Have excellent communication skills with a can do' attitude
- Have excellent influencing skills across senior and junior levels
