Description
This is a 6 month contract, thats very extendable and based in Rio de Janeiro. However, frequent travel within Brazil will be required.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
.Candidate must have a strong Optical DWDM/SDH background of at least 5 years, working as a field/onsite technical engineer. Ideally this would be on Cisco's ONS MSTP and more recently on the NCS2k platforms although a strong history of DWDM deployments on other vendor equipment will be considered.
.Experience with RAMAN amplification and fiber characterization a must. Candidate must have MPLS (Layer2) knowledge.
.Soft skills required for customer facing consultation and collaboration and written skills to create HLD, LLD, MOP's and detailed engineering diagrams and drawings, must have knowledge of general MS Office Suite word, excel, visio.
.Must speak Portuguese, English and Spanish as second languages. Must be able to travel for up to 2 weeks at a time.
