Description
NextLink is a Swiss IT consultancy company that has been providing both IT services and IT staffing to major customers for the past 20 years.
NextLink is currently looking for an Enterprise Architect (IT Infrastructure & Cloud) to work for a well-known pharma company based in St. Cugat, Barcelona (Spain) for a 18 months contract.
Some remote work is possible and travel is required (20%).
Requirements:
1. BS level technical degree required; Computer Science or Math background preferred; MS degree desired
2. Highly technical and analytical, possessing 10 or more years of IT implementation experience
3. Advanced understanding of foundational architectural concepts (design, business technology strategy, quality management, human dynamics, and IT environment).
4. Subject matter expert in cloud technologies and proficient in multiple service areas and technologies.
5. Customer facing skills to represent well within the customer's environment and drive discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, and risk mitigation
6. Integration of cloud services/environment with hands on expertise in technologies from Microsoft, PTC Windchill, IBM, Oracle, HP, SAP etc.
7. Willingness to be a team player and work toward pragmatic solutions aligned with company Strategies
Desirable:
1. Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
2. Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements (eg. security, privacy, SOX, HIPAA etc.)
3. Travel to business locations may be required to participate in project meetings and deliver professional services as needed
4. Stakeholder Management - Business & External partners
5. Ability to write and update technical project to documentation as-required
6. Previous experience with PTC software products and/or Windchill is preferred but not mandatory
7. Ability to write and update technical project to documentation as-required
8. Previous experience building solutions and driving automation and efficiencies through solutions.
