Sr Network Engineer- Transport (Nokia)
Exciting opportunity for a Networking Engineer-Transport to join a dynamic team as SME over the Network Transport Infrastructure for an enterprise organization that services over 450 locations.
You will serve as a Sr Networking resource to resolve critical issues within this environment. We are looking for a Sr Network Engineer that has strong experience with Transport Networking and has worked heavily with voice, and data communications networking as well as MPLS and Nokia SAM. This position is critical to the organization. You will be expected to analyze complicated systems, document application standards, and assure high levels of stability, reliability, and availability of the transport network environment.
This is a 12 - 18 month contract role located in Midtown with close proximity to Marta train station! Excellent opportunity for a long term contract opportunity!
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 5 + years Network Engineer experience
- 5+ years Telecommunications Engineering
- Experience with full life cycle implementations
- Nokia Networking experience
PREFERRED:
- Nokia Network Routing Specialist (NRS 1)
- Nokia Network Routing Specialist II (NRS II)
- Nokia Triple Play Routing Professional (3RP) Certification
- Nokia Service Routing Architect (SRA), MCSE, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CNE
