Fitter
Assembly and Test Technicians (Fitters) required urgently!
Working for an aerospace company that is a world leader in the design and manufacture of aerospace actuation systems.
What we need you to do:
You will be using technical engineering drawings to build units and sub-assemblies. You will also be required to test to specification and record results as necessary, declaring any non-conformance's.
Other duties will include final inspection prior to dispatch and assisting with continuous improvements.
What we need you to have done before:
Prior experience of assembly and test in a mechanical environment is essential.
Experienced in the use of hand tools and measuring equipment.
You must also have completed a relevant apprenticeship or equivalent relevant qualification (ie NVQ level 3 in mechanical engineering)
Nice to have:
High level of PC proficiency and knowledge of aerospace standards (not essential)
You will start this role on a day shift at a base rate of £17.22 PAYE, you are then likely to move to a shift pattern, so we need people that can be flexible around this - good shift uplift rates will be applied.
