Proteus Europe is searching for a Customer Support Engineer for our client in Basingstoke. The salary for this role is between £27,800 - £28,700 pa.

Our client is a major player in these markets since the 1990s and has been established with comprehensive personalisation facilities in Wembley since 2000. Your New role :-

Based at our site at Manchester, the main objective will be to ensure that the customer site remains operational and meets our Companys contractual obligations.

Main duties and tasks include:

- On-site customer support (in Basingstoke)
- Preventive maintenance
- Corrective maintenance
- Maintain site stock
- Maintain documentation
- Liaise with customer
- Operator Training
- Systems installation
- Customer training

Your Skills and Qualifications :-

Essential Skills :-

Applicants should have the following competencies and knowledge:-

- Essential :

Technical product knowledge;

- Mechanical / electrical / electronic skills
- Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail).
- Alpha-numeric skills, esp. report writing; Problem solving; Good communication and interpersonal skills at all levels.

- Desirable:

- Technical Training; PC software and hardware competency.
- Experience in high-speed production environment.
- Education and Qualifications
- ONC/OND or HNC/HND in a relevant engineering subject
- Competent in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
