In this important role you will lead the Master Data Management technical implementations from initiation till handover to support teams. Overall the role will be the one to manage all technical deliverables for the MDM implementations.
Education Minimum Requirement:
- MSc Degree or BSc Degree or equivalent in Business Engineering, Economics Computer Science, Computer Science Engineering.
Required Experience and Skills:
Must have
- Education: MS/BS in Engineering or related discipline with 3-5 years’ experience in a Master Data Management or BI or ETL or Integrations Area
- Demonstrated experience in master data management, ETL processes, and data warehousing
Strong background in data warehousing tools and technologies
- Experience with leading IT projects including resource planning, risk estimation and mitigation and project status reporting.
- Experience with cloud-based / SaaS solutions
- Strong analytical thinker and problem solving skills
- Comes from a development background
- Experience in at least one programming language
- Experience in both Unix/Linux and windows environments
- Proven track record in a position of Team Lead/Technical Lead, with a strong delivery focus
Preferred
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a geographically dispersed environment
- Experience working in a multinational and multicultural environment is a plus
- Experience managing virtual teams comprising of internal employees and geographically separated vendors/partners
- Experience in coaching team members in technical areas
- Deep technical knowledge of enterprise master data management tools such as Siperian, cloud based MDM, or open source MDM is a plus
Primary job responsibilities include:
- Lead the Master Data Management technical implementations from initiation till handover to support teams
- Responsibility for resource planning, risk estimation and mitigation and project status reporting
- Work closely with Solution architect and other platform, business and IT teams to ensure successful delivery
- Participate in problem management by bringing technical expertise and troubleshooting to chronic problem areas of the technical landscape and develop solutions to eradicate them
- Manage all technical deliverables for the MDM implementations
- Technically lead the project implementation teams comprising of internal employees and external vendors
- Be hands-on and lead by example
