Your tasks:
- Implement and manage a platform environment for deployment and maintenance of highly available and scalable SaaS applications on a cloud platform
- Consult teams on building for scale and fault tolerance
- Develop available fitting runtime and middleware solutions
- Implement and manage automated monitoring systems
- Establish, automate, monitor and support the cloud platform components
- Monitor issues and resource consumption, and drive improvements
Your qualifications
- Good understanding of virtual data center design and best practices for a multi-tenant, internet facing environment
- Strong sensitivity for Cloud Security, with an emphasis on infrastructure, network, virtualization, application deployment
- Strong background in Linux (RHEL, CentOS, etc.) and Windows
- Project experience with designing highly available and scalable AWS VPCs/ Azure VNETs using IaC (e.g. Terraform, Cloud Formation, ARM)
- Project experience with automation/configuration management using Puppet, Chef, Ansible or SaltStack
- Project experience with continuous deployment using containers
- Scripting experience with Bash and either PowerShell, Python, or similar
- Experience with hands on deployment of applications to AWS, Microsoft Azure, or another leading cloud service provider
- Familiarity with logging/monitoring using tools (e.g. CloudWatch, DataDog, LogStash, Kibana)
- Understanding of Cloud Management platforms (e.g. RightScale)
