For our client we are looking for 3-4 dedicated Infrastructure Automation Engineers with development background. The consultants must be familiar with the infrastructure as code principles, and cannot be afraid to face new challenges.
Please be aware of that we are looking for a team that can fulfil the spec below. Please apply if you match some of the requirements.
Must haves:
3-4-year experience working as Infrastructure Developer adopting automation practice
2-3 programming languages preferably Ruby or Python
Nice to have:
Infrastructure configuration management tools preferably Ansible or Puppet
Building Kebana dashboards & familiarity with Solr query syntax
Operating ElasticSearch Servers
Writing Logstash pipelines
Experience with production system support
Experience in writing the service health checks
Understanding of SNMP & SNMP traps
Good understanding of Linux & Windows stacks
Monitoring system experience preferably Sensu but Icinga2, Nagios, Zabbix will also do

Description:
The scope of the tools project is to:
1. Build a scalable orchestration platform that can deploy to network, Firewalls, clients, Servers and applications using an idempotent approach and a configuration management tool
2. Build an inventory management solution to gather asset info and populate the configuration management database
3. Use the orchestration platform to deploy an event management system on each vessel. The platform must poll or receive events from services and equipment on the vessel, filter the critical events, display them on vessel dashboard and forward the events to a shore analytics platform.
4. Additionally the platform must be able to monitor key network devices and services on the vessel and present a simple up/down dashboard on the vessel.
5. The shore analytics platform must be capable of supporting event handling of both application and security events and either present the events on dashboards and forward relevant events.
Deadline is Mid-September 2018.
The MVP for the tools project is to have the following in place specific for R2 scope:
1. Event management:
a. Platform on the vessel gathers events from the key critical services on the vessel
b. management aggregate key security or operational events in
c. High-Level Design for transport of events from vessel to shore signed off
2. Orchestration
a. Basic orchestration platform capabilities
b. Network orchestration
