C&M - Monitoring Architect
Location: Hampshire
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 3 month rolling (8 months minimum)
Rate: £500 per day (Accommodation and expenses paid for if needed)
NST Recruitment are currently looking for a C&M Monitoring Architect to work for a Global IT Service Provider on a contract basis.
This truly is a fantastic organisation to work for, this is a long term contract with a strong possibility of moving on to new projects within the business down the line.
Candidates should ideally be SC cleared for this role, although it is NOT ESSENTIAL.
Job Description:
Delivery of High Level Design documents to cover:
- Enterprise Monitoring solutions, for both monitoring and alerting
- Mapping to Service Level Metrics.
- Centralised logging solutions
- Dashboard and reporting to provide service orientated views of infrastructure and overall service status, for components and rollup of components/services.
- Integration of monitoring solutions into Service Management tooling, including API interfaces.
Experience is implementing of monitoring platforms built around:
- Enterprise Monitoring platforms
- Monitoring/Logging protocols: SNMP, Syslog
- Experience of enterprise infrastructure products such as Cisco ASR Routers, Cisco Nexus Switches, Cisco Catalyst Switches, Cisco UCS, NetApp
- Candidates will ideally have Splunk technology experience
