Job Description: Migration Engineer
What is the opportunity?
Reporting to the in country deployment lead, you will be the point of contact for all migration activities ahead of the user migrations and will support the users post migration during their warranty period. The role is part of a complex Global Transformation and Insourcing program.
What will you do?
* Support the business with all deployment activities leading up to their migration
* Support the business during "warranty" post migration
* Remediate any issues that come out of the workplace migrations
* Get involved in profiling, EUC and application testing as part of the workplace business readiness
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
* Experience with workplace program
* Understanding of desktop architecture
* 5 years support experience
* Financial exposure a bonus
* Superior interpersonal and networking skills with a proven track record of dealing with complex problems and driving out solutions and workarounds.
