Job Title: Migration Engineer

Contract Rate: Euro 400 per day
Contract Length: 6 Months - Extension likely
Our Client, one of the world's foremost IT Consultancies, is looking to recruit a Contract Migration Engineer to join their client in Luxembourg.
They are looking for a Windows workstation specialist with experience on migration projects.
Reporting to the in-country deployment lead, you will be the point of contact for all migration activities ahead of the user migrations and will support the users post migration during their warranty period. The role is part of a complex Global Transformation and Insourcing program.
• Support the business with all deployment activities leading up to their migration
• Support the business during "warranty" post migration
• Remediate any issues that come out of the workplace migrations
• Get involved in profiling, EUC and application testing as part of the workplace business readiness
Must have-
• Experience with workplace program
• Understanding of desktop architecture
• Support experience
• Financial exposure a bonus
• Superior interpersonal and networking skills with a proven track record of dealing with complex problems and driving out solutions and workarounds.
Strong 1st and 2nd line support engineer who can help manage incidents on site
