Description
Operations Analyst required for a contract opportunity located in Oslo/Norway.
The ideal candidate for the role of Operations Analyst must have experience with the i operation system on IBM Power Servers.
The role will focus heavily on Power i (iSeries) hosting/operations and tasks will include:
Daily operations
LPAR (virtual server) create/remove
Surveillance using Halcyon, OPRS and HP site scope
Mirroring using Mimix
Backup/Restore
Capacity (CPW, memory disk)
OS patching
Incident/Request handling
24/7 support
Hardware firmware upgrades
Kindly note that due to security reasons the candidate must be onsite in Norway, either in Oslo or remotely within the Norwegian border.
