Server Engineer - Sheffield
An urgent project has arisen for a team of engineers to assist with a Server refresh project Windows Server 2008 to Windows Server 2016.
Initially up until the end of May, this project is based in Sheffield and start ASAP!
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Onsite Server installation; Set IP for iDRAC and check connectivity
- Configure a new Datastore on Host for GP Data drive Set config for Server; Name, IP, Antivirus, windows updates.
- Install any 3rd party software and schedule support windows with 3rd party Export/import DHCP Scope & Printers
- Make required AD changes & GPO changes
- Reboot PC's to pick up AD and GPO changes
- Test Network and local printing Install 3rd Party software and SQL DB as required
- Resolve any File permission/folder redirection issues - Main/Branch
- Resolve any 3rd party software issues Main/Branch
