T4S are currently working alongside a leading global telecommunications provider who are currently looking for System Security engineer to be based in Hong Kong.
Job Description:
- Audit and help the security enforcement of IP engineering critical Servers (around 500). (using Vulnerabilities scanner: Nexpose and Metasploit).
- Follow up with server administrator for correct application of security patch and maximal protection (best security practices of linux server)
- Good mindset and experience in ISO 27001 environment. We need to deploy procedure and maintain it for our ISO certification which we plan to pass this Year.
- Maintain and support system engineer using puppet, Bamboo, bitbucket.
- Secure the openstack environment.
- Maintain OpenLDAP server and group assignation. Help system and developer engineer to use better granularity and stronger enforcement of roles and rights on the server (mandatory for our ISO audit).
- Regular review on the users database and confirmation of their roles
Skills required :
- Hard working and flexible
- Open minded
- Analytical skills to enable troubleshooting of complex issues
- Very good knowledge of Linux OS, including: Firewalling, file system, useful tools and protocol.
- Good Scripting skills is a plus.
- Good knowledge on the TCP/IP stack (TCP port commonly used, ICMP options, sessions control and establishment, IPSEC, AH, ...)
- Good understanding of LDAP protocol
- Good knowledge of Vmware and openstack.
- Fluent in English: Written and Oral.
- Cantonese speaking is a plus.
- At least 3 year on Sys admin and Server security on Linux environment.
