Implementation Consultant - Asset Management - Microsoft
Our client - a vendor of cutting edge software applications to the asset and wealth management sectors - is seeking a contract Microsoft Technical Application/Implementation Consultant.
Required skills and experience:
*Deep technical knowledge of the Microsoft platform, especially SQL Server.
*Solid experience gained working for a software vendor in a client-facing implementation role, ideally operating in the asset management/wealth management/buy side.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and either Dutch and/or French.
*Willing and able to travel internationally on a regular basis to assist with overseas client site implementations.
*Excellent client facing, communication and stakeholder management skills.
*You must be a team player, with a flexible, accurate, delivery focused and hands-on mentality.
*Any knowledge of Crystal Reports, networking, Active Directory, Virtualization ideal.
In this role you will:
*Assist the project teams delivering the implementation of the products with the end clients, focusing on the technical and data integration between banking applications.
*Provide technical expertise and consultancy in the Microsoft and MS SQL Server domains.
*Utilise well-honed analytical skills to analyse and document the customer needs.
*Produce requirement documents and technical specifications detailing enhancements and extensions to the client's products.
*Support the Development Group on customer related project work.
*Participate in regular customer status meetings.
*Handle as a second line subject matter expert, customer calls and incidents in collaboration with involved parties.
*Validate and keep the customer environments up-to-date (internally and customer site).
*Develop, enhance and test customer specific enhancements to the products.
This important and demanding role would suit someone with experience gained in a customer facing software implementation role at a buy side firm, with fluency in English and French and/or Dutch. Immediate contract start offered.
