Description
Level 1 Helpdesk Engineer required for a 12 month contract in Madrid, Spain. You will be fluent in both French and English to provide remote service a client based in Paris.
You will have at least 12 months experience working on an IT service desk.
The jobholder will be responsible for first level support to Back Office users. The Service Desk will also provide advice and guidance for users IT requests.
You will be responsible for:
First Level Support
Providing assistance and Information
Providing advice and guidance to users relating to IT requests ad the self service applications
Management of generic mailbox
To be successful you will be able to demonstrate knowledge of the above along with Process Improvement, Quality Assurance and Service Desk daily production.
Essential Qualifications, Experience and Technical Skills:
Basic knowledge of Active Directory and infrastructure
Fluent French, written and spoken
Basic English, written and spoken
Experience of Production Support
Advanced knowledge of Windows Workstation
Call logging using ServiceNOW
Advanced experience with Microsoft Windows platforms, including XP and 7
MS Office 2002 & 2010 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
MS Outlook
MS Access
IBM Lotus Notes
Knowlegde of LAN/WAN, Server and Network applications
SMS software deployment
Blackberry technology
laptop/desktop build and imaging
VoIP telephoney
