Hello from Zurich office with an great project opportunity:We are currently looking for multiple Electrical Design Engineers for our client in the area of eastern Switzerland. General Information
- Start date: Immediately
- Type of employment: Contracting or permanent possible
- 2 contracting roles for the Rheintal area and 1 permanent role in Zurich
- Contracting: Initial 6 months contract + extension up to 2 years
Your main tasks
- Design and develop FPGA based electronic for servo-drive and opto.electronic modules
- Work with contract manufacturer, mechanical and firmware engineers to produces prototypes and production grade boards
- Board bring-up, design verification, troubleshooting and live cycle responsibility
- Develop of FPGA design
- Develop and support PC Windows based test equipment
Your Profile
- University degree or diploma from a technical college
- 3 years + in electronic design
- Proven expertise with CAD tools (OrCAD, Altium) for schematic capture, simulation and layout
- Experienced with digital design, memory interface, high speed signals, power electronic and low power design
- Solid background in VHDL design, simulation and testing ( Altera)
- Experience in development of PC-based test systems (MatLab, LabView)
- Knowledge with board packaging, safety and EMC standards as a plus
- Familiar with motion control, robotics and drive Systems
- Fluent in English and any other language a plus (eg German)
