Senior Network Engineer - Telecoms, SD-WAN, MPLS, Openstack
ITPM are seeking a Technical Network Engineer to join its SD-WAN team onsite one of our clients, a global communications & technology leader based in the US. The increased adoption of cloud & SaaS applications coupled with the dramatic growth of rich media on corporate networks is causing enterprises to rethink how they architect their WANs. SD-WAN is a fundamentally new approach to WAN architectures that provides a simpler, more agile way to manage both hybrid and traditional WAN, alike. You will contribute in the analysis, design, testing, documentation, standardization, implementation/configuration and support of SD-WAN and MPLS components.
Required Qualifications:
- Implementation and support of our Network Management Systems.
- 3+ years of experience with working on WAN/LAN solutions
- Extensive knowledge of routing, switching, routing protocols MPLS, MPLS VPNS
- Maintain and troubleshoot SD-WAN, supporting remote sites using MPLS, broadband, and wireless.
- Analyse and recommend contemporary and emerging technologies across the enterprise including but not limited to MPLS WAN
- Manage various network projects collaborating with other IT and business departments to determine requirements and meet project milestones.
- Extensive knowledge of open-source software platform for cloud computing such as Openstack or AWS
You will ideally come from a Telecoms or Cable background.
