IP/MPLS Engineer (ALU IP, Nokia, NMS 5620SAM and/or NSP, ALU SRA, VoIP, Cisco CCIE)
Project Engineer for IP/MPLS Network roll-out needed in Scandinavia.
Our Client need your to provide IP/MPLS networking, Network Management Services & Scripting technical expertise in a customer contract, in the area of GSM-R service critical network, all based on the Alcatel-Lucent IP Routing product portfolio.
Main responsibilities will include:
The main responsibilities of the resident technical project engineer are:
- IP Engineering for the ALU IP Routing portfolio.
- Local technical anchor point for customer network roll-out (design, integration, testing)
- Interface for network evolution aspects and able to capture customer requirements.
- Solution integration and configuration in customer networks including operational change requests.
- Acceptance Test Plan creation, detail MOPs and solution test execution.
- Technical product/solution troubleshooting and assisting in technical resolution or workaround definition.
Detailed job-related tasks of the Network Specialist are:
- Standardize and automate service setup in IP/MPLS network
- Automate provisioning and monitoring of service delivery via Nokia Network Management System (NSP).
- Configure and startup of the Network Management System CPAM Impact Analysis for simulating of planned changes.
- Training of operation department and NOC related to CPAM Impact Analysis
- Configuration and introduction of logging and analysing logs using open source like Graylog and ELK-stack
- Support of establishment of regime for bandwidth control.
Required Skills and Experience:
General experience:
- Expert level about Nokia based IP/MPLS networks.
- Minimum 5 years experience from design and implementation of network and connections for mobile backhaul.
- Mimimum 5 years experience from implementation of VoIP and Packet Abis.
- Knowledgeable on Network Management Systems, networking concepts and related technologies (incl. experience from log collection and analysis of performance data).
- Knowledgeable on Scripting and mastering programming languages and techniques.
- Hands-on experience including design, build, deploy, trouble-shooting & fault-finding, etc.
- ALU SRA, Cisco CCIE, Juniper JNCIE or equivalent Certification are a plus.
Mandatory ( a must ) for this job position:
- IP Routers, Nokia 7x50 SR/SRa/SRe and 7705SAR/7210SAS portfolio
- Network Management, Nokia 5620 SAM/CPAM portfolio
- Knowledgeable in IP/MPLS, Routing Protocols, Ethernet, L2/L3 VPNs, QoS, Multicast, Synchronization, Security, etc.
- Excellent with configuring and/or designing Network Management Systems in carrier networks
- Certifications: NRS 2 or SRA
