Our client, a global leading telecommunication company are recruiting for a FTTX Designers to join their business in Slovakia.

Position Title: FTTX Designer
Position Type: Contract

Responsibilities:
- E2E responsibility for design of telecommunication line structures, preferably optical networks (FTTx).
- Developing all levels of project documentation for line telecommunication structures
- Close cooperation with Network planning team and Build team.
- Establish clean and effective means of communication within and outside your team (external partners, customer, authorithies etc.).
- Attend site surveys together with planner to find most suitable technical solution for particular site from time, money and quality point of view.
- Prepare Site Acquisition Report and Low Level Design – dwg drawings and related documents.
- Detail Design preparation including bill of quantities.
- Prepare all documents which are needed for obtaining all permits, approvals and decisions.
- After construction and installation works prepare all requested documents in paper and electronic form for handover to customer and support other colleagues in this area.
- Filling and updating of proper data into database and preparation of reports.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in design of optical networks on similar position
- To be familiar with local law, construction and processes.
- Good knowledge of MicroStation, MS office, ACAD.
- Project management skills
- Driving licence B.
- Slovak language is advantage
