Cisco Security Engineer required for a 2 month contract based in South Dublin
In this role you will have responsibility for all aspects of implementation, integration, engineering and support of customer network security infrastructure.
You will be part of a highly motivated team responsible for design, installation and maintenance of all network & security infrastructure related to multiples customers so strong customer facing skills is a must.
You must have vast experience with the latest architectural network & security design concepts, in-depth network routing and switching, Cisco Firewalling, implementation and troubleshooting.
A keen understanding and insight to industry technologies, evolutions, pitfalls and trends is also a must.
Experience required:
3+ years experience in network engineering technologies
In depth knowledge of network systems and standards
Network security systems (Cisco ASA & FirePOWER)
Local and Wide Area Networks
Protocols (BGP, EIGRP, TCP/IP, IPSEC, OSPF)
Firewall Concepts
Layer 4-7 Content Devices (load balancers) & NextGen application technology
Certification:
Cisco CCNA Security or equivalent experience
