Description

Technical Engineering Support Consultant/Paris/3 months +/EUROS -ppd - EUROS

We need a technical consultant to provide general technical engineering support to the clients secruity and mointering center GSMC and work with their technical team to develop documentation and carry out the following activities:

. Support the development of secruity and mointering center and Hosting operations.
. Support the client in managing the GSF Level 1 Maintenance Procedures (IOMM-M documentation, classified as R-UE/EU-R, which refer to some SOM documents, classified as C-UE/EU-C).
. Review these procedures and highlight points to be improved as well as propose new developments of the documents.
. Keep the procedure list updated, based on acceptance of those procedures, on training provided to the Operators, and assure that possible actions (derived by MoMs with ESA) will be executed.
. Support the client in the development of relevant training material; train the Operators under the guidance of the clients GSF Level 1 Maintenance process owner; update the Interface Control Document (ICD), Site Description Document (SDD) and the Verification Control Document (VCD), written in English (technical documents)
. Support the client on other GSF ICT and logistical processes
. Support the development and the implementation of requirements and project portfolio management
. Assisting the setup of any supporting tools necessary to meet the objectives eg Anomaly Report Tracking System (ARTS).
. Assist in the maintenance of Risk Management activities.
. Support of Anomaly Review Boards (ARB) by contributing to technical analysis of the anomalies.
. Support the activities of Change Control Boards (CCB).
. Interact on client project management to contribute to the technical requirements writing or review of projects.
. Contribute to the writing of technical support service statements of work.
. Contribute to draft and validate templates for the recurrent availability and performance reports, mainly coming for monitoring tools
The consultant will also contribute to GSF technical support:
. Assist clients technical team in training for, executing and validating level 1 operation on the GSF system.
. Contribute to writing test cases and test reports for the above. In some cases, this may also include the performance of the related work instructions upon GSA request and subject.
. Populating the known-errors knowledge database with lesson's learned from the ARB process
