Description
We are recruiting for a Design Engineer to work with our team on Cisco ACI implementations across a large client estate
Responsibilities
- Leading the client engagement to understand business and technical requirements and to advise and agree on suitable detailed design options and decisions
- Shaping the solution framework providing direction to tech leads on how to complete the design and translate business requirements to technical actions and vice versa, and identifying complex dependencies
- Acting as the escalation point for a global team for a complex solution delivery
Essential Technical Experience
- Cisco ACI Design, Deployment, Troubleshooting, and Operational experience
Some of the following:
- Cisco Routing and Switching - BGP, OSPF, BFD, HSRP, STP, VPC, FabricPath on Nexus 7K, 6K, 5K, 2K and Catalyst 6500 - CCxP level
- F5 Big IP (LTM, ASM and DNS) including Advanced Routing Module
- F5 VIPRION Chassis and vCMP deployment experience
- FortiGate, Checkpoint, Firepower etc Implementation and management platforms
- Gigamon HC-2 and GigaVUE experience
- Raritan CCSG & DSX-2 experience
- Network Focused automation, via Scripting with python and/or ansible or similar
- Automating public and/or private cloud deployments
