Description
A federal government department in Canberra requires the services a highly experienced and technically skilled Microsoft services Administrator to provide Microsoft Enterprise Active Directory and a global fleet of Windows Server Systems administration to support current and future Microsoft Active Directory and Windows Server Systems in the department.
This role will facilitate all high level Microsoft AD integration work for new systems being introduced into the environment.
The role will also work closely with the Cyber Risk Branch to ensure compliance with the ASD essential 8 and their security policies.
The Selection Criteria:-
Mandatory Criteria:
8-10 years' minimum experience in operational support of Microsoft technologies or enterprise equivalent in Large Government organisations.
5+ year's minimum experience in design and development of Microsoft Active Directory and Windows server platforms in large government organisations.
Experience with highly available service concepts and configuration in global environments.
Knowledge and experience in the administration of supporting Microsoft technologies SCCM, SCOM, MSSQL, SharePoint, CRM
3-5 years' minimum Experience supporting virtualisation and Microsoft technologies across global locations.
Highly Desirable:
Experience with Microsoft Group Policy Management
Experience with Microsoft Active Directory services
Experience with Microsoft PowerShell.
Experience with security hardening concepts and least privileged access methodologies.
Ability to analyse and resolve complex enterprise system hardware and software problems; interface with peer teams and vendors to coordinate solutions.
Ability to communicate complex technical issues in forums involving non-technical personnel and executives.
The client requires the candidate to hold an Australian Citizenship and a Negative Vetting Level 1 Security Clearance.
The contract period is from April March 2019 with options to extend for a period of 2*12 months.
