Description
Resource 1 is in need of a Tester for a 6-month contract in Elkridge, MD. Selected candidate will be joining a team responsible for the testing initiatives related to data integration (data ingress/egress). Individual will design, create and execute test plans, test cases and test scripts related to the Data Integration platform and Data Integration business rules. Selected candidate should have a mix of manual and automation testing experience using mainstream testing tools (eg, Selenium, QTP, etc.). Prior experience testing EDI, file exchange and transformations is highly desirable for this position. Individual should understand data flow, parsing, ingress and egress. Candidate must have some experience with SQL for database testing/data validation. Finally, candidate must possess strong communication skills and an interest in learning new technologies and skills. Should be able to take ownership of key initiatives, take command of situations and communicate professionally with all levels of an organization. Prior healthcare industry experience would be a plus.
