IT Support Analyst/Helpdesk Analyst- 1st/2nd Line- 6 week contract (INSIDE 1R35)

Our client are going through an upgrade to Office 365 and are looking for an extra support professional on their Service desk for a 6 week initial contract starting ASAP. Offering up to £170 per day. (£24 per hour) Service desk operated between 8am and 17.30pm and your times will vary within this.

The office is based in the West End near Tottenham Court Road.

Our client is relatively small with 280 complex users, but with officers spread through the UK, and approx. 75 remote worked needing support.

The successful candidate will provide backfill on the ICT Service Desk while Office 365 is implemented and will join a small, well-established IT support team.

We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated, friendly IT support Analyst to help our clients team during a busy time.

Skills and Experience needed:

  • Previous experience of providing effective 1st and 2nd line IT support within a similar sized organisation
  • Customer focused with strong customer service skills/ITIL Experience
  • Knowledge and experience of supporting; Windows 7, Windows 10, Active Directory, Office 2016, Office 365, IE11, Citrix, iPads, iPhones, imaging, new starter account setup, audio-visual equipment, Lenovo hardware, Skype for Business, LANDesk.
  • Demonstrable analytical and systematic problem-solving skills.
  • A team player who understands the need to share information and support team members and communicate effectively across the team and with customers.
  • Proven ability to perform most technical tasks required of them without the need for supervision or instruction
  • Good written and oral communication skills and a proven ability to effectively interact with and support non-technical business users.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and prioritise between conflicting tasks in order to meet deadlines.
  • A strong track record of taking every opportunity to improve skills and use comprehensive notes and documentation to share with others.
